I’m Laura Richards, I am a Madison native who has lived and worked in the community all of my life so far. I work as an artist making large scale glass and metal sculpture. I love travelling, going to concerts, and just hanging out with my peeps.

I am the youngest of 4 girls
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am an artist, specializing in Glass and Metal Sculpture for private and public spaces. I really love learning something new with every project I do. Both the process and subject matter is always a new adventure.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I really like The Argus Bar Grille and Ha Long Bay
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I am a Madison native, went to the university here and have worked as an artist here ever since.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would love to go to Thailand and see some of their amazing beaches and wildlife
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
So many favorites, but I love The Karate Kid and The Goonies. I watch a lot of Roseanne.

I love how friendly and inclusive people are here

I see myself here, but hopefully travelling a bit more and having amazing adventures
